Description

PLEASE READ:
Decided to do one of these cool things! ^_^ Sorry that the description is pretty long! >.>
Anyways let’s begin this list of favorite Pokemon by type and generation. I’ll also be providing nicknames to the ones I have trained. ^_^ Don’t read the description if you don’t want to but comment on what are your favorite types and Pokemon and I’d love to hear what you think of my faves! ^_^

Normal:
1st Gen – Porygon (Jugernaut)
Absolutely loved this Pokemon back in the day and was a part of my Leafgreen team.
2nd Gen – Porgyon-2 (Jugernaut)
Classic case of love at first sight! I was so happy they gave one of my fav normal types an evo in Johto! Was part of my Leafgreen team when I learned how to evolve it.
3rd Gen – Slaking (Truantor)
An absolute beast. I wish he didn’t have that horrible ability but he was still a part of my Platinum team.
4th Gen – Porygon-Z (Jugernaut)
Just when I thought he couldn’t get more awesome, he did! My fave normal type of all time! Part of my SoulSilver and Current Team.
5th Gen – Unfezant (Female) (Elegancia)
Not many awesome normal types in the 5th Gen, but Unfezant was pretty cool. The female tho the male looks to complex while the female is nice and simple! ^_^

Grass: (By far one of my all time favorite types) <3
1st Gen – Venusaur (Vodeox)
He began my love for Grass types. Part of my Leafgreen team and looking forward to training a new one in the 5th Gen.
2nd Gen – Meganium (Gobul)
I chose the Grass starter twice and never felt happier! I absolutely loved his whole evo line but Meganium is a big part of my love for Pokemon! Part of my SoulSilver team. :D
3rd Gen – Cacturne (Necrocide)
The 3rd Gen didn’t really have a lot of Grass types I liked but Cacturne always shined in my eyes. Nice offensive, only if he was faster…Part of my Platinum team.
4th Gen – Torterra (Yokozuno)
After taking a break in the 3rd Gen from Grass types, I decided to choose Turtwig. Boy was I happy when I saw Torterra!! By far one of my top favorite Pokemon and he is a part of my Pearl, Platinum, and Current Team.
5th Gen – Virizion
I was so happy when they made a Grass legendary in the 5th Gen! I absolutely love the design and typing and greatly looking forward to training my Jolly one! Also my account is named after it! ^_^ My 3rd Favorite legendary of all time. ;D

Fire:
1st Gen – Ninetales
Magmar is a close 2nd but I absolutely love Ninetales and can’t wait to get Drought Ninetales! She was a part of my old Red team.
2nd Gen – Houndoom (Kamu)
I owe the Misfits for making me fall in love with Houndoom. Whenever I would listen to their song Hellhound I would picture my badass Hidden Power (Psychic) Houndoom. Part of my Soul Silver and Current team.
3rd Gen – Blaziken (Kimiko)
The first time I didn’t choose the Grass starter. Blaziken was by far one of my most favorite Fire types back in the days before Magmortar came along. Still a beast and he was a part of my Emerald team.
4th Gen- Magmortar (Blaze)
MY ALL TIME FAVE FIRE TYPE! I loved Magmar and I absolutely love Magmortar. A part of my SoulSilver team and Current team.
5th Gen – Emboar (Kane)
My starter for Pokemon White. Love his design not a fan of his redundant typing. He was a part of my White team before being retired for Tyranitar.

Water:
1st Gen – Gyarados (Fatalis)
Hated him in the Red for some reason but when they made him a part of the Johto story line I gained so much respect for this beast! Part of my SoulSilver and Current team.
2nd Gen – Azumarill
I was skeptical of Marill but I love the design of Azumarill. He would always be the temporary water type in my team. Def going to train a new one.
3rd Gen – Kyogre (Dodgers)
This legendary definitely made me like water types a lot more than I did before. His fight with Groudon was an awesome one and he was a part of my Emerald team back when I was an Uber noob. >.>
4th Gen – Palkia (Garuga)
My most favorite Legendary of all time. Absolutely loved the idea of a Pokemon controlling space and Palkia is a beast! He was a part of my Pearl team.
5th Gen – Oshawott/Mijumaru (Gadian)
I absolutely adore this Pokemon!! When they first showed him I was a big skeptical but boy was I wrong. Kinda disappointed his evo wasn’t part Fighting….I prefer his Japanese name to his English one but he is still adorable as hell! Miju Miju!!  Got mine from my little bro. ^_^

Electric:
1st Gen – Zapdos
I like Pikachu & Raichu but Zapdos is the real badass. I still thought he was the awesomest of the 3 Legendary birds especially after the Lugia movie. Might train one. :P
2nd Gen – Raikou
Another legendary? Yup! Raikou was my favorite of the 3 Dogs and got the least love ironically. I’m glad they gave him an Event to make him more badass. Looking forward to training it. :P
3rd Gen – Minun (Mikey)
3rd Gen didn’t have a lot of Electric types but loved Minun! He was actually a part of my Ruby team! He was a beast too ironically. My fave memory of it was when he beat Drake’s Salamence with one Thunder (crit of course). Part of my old Ruby team.
4th Gen – Electivire (Blitz)
I always liked Electabuzz but Electivire is just badass! I was so happy they gave evolutions to both Electabuzz and Magmar. Part of my SoulSilver and Current team.
5th Gen – Zekrom (Yami Yami)
3 Legendary Pokemon? Sorry but yes >.>. Zekrom became my 2nd fave legendary of all time (2nd only to Palkia) when they first revealed his typing. He is a beast! Part of my White team. ^_^

Psychic: (Love ‘em ;P)
1st Gen – Alakazam
Never used him but he looks awesome. I love the Mustache and the spoons. ^_^ Probably will train one if I get a Magic Guard one. ;P
2nd Gen – Lugia (Alatreon)
My 4th most favorite legendary. Absolutely fell in love with it when I saw the Lugia movie and was so disappointed that I got Gold version instead of Silver. (I liked Ho-Oh more for some reason strange.) But I redeemed myself with SoulSIlver. Part of my SoulSilver team.
3rd Gen – Deoxys
Never knew this Pokemon even existed until its movie came out. I still remember how shocked I was at how badass it was when I saw the movie. I own one too! Thank goodness for trading! Def one of my favorite Pokemon of all time. ;P
4th Gen – Bronzong
Bronzong just has an awesome design and typing! I found him so awesome when I first fought one. Trained one in Pearl but going to retrain a new one in the 5th Gen.
5th Gen – Elgyem
When they revealed the Pokedex for Black/White this little cutie especially popped out! I just found his design to be absolutely adorable! I would’ve trained one in my White playthrough but I liked Swoobat just a bit more. Def wanna train one though. :D

Dark:
1st Gen – None
Dark types didn’t exist. Oh well. ^_^”
2nd Gen – Tyranitar (Tyranto)
Fell in love with this bad boy thanks to the Celebi movie. Thought he was badass in it and when I trained my Tyranitar he became even more awesome in my eyes! Part of SoulSilver team and replaced Emboar on my White team.
3rd Gen –Crawdaunt
I always wanted Ash to evolve his Corphish into Crawdaunt. I thought Crawdaunt was such an awesome Pokemon. His typing and design just scream awesome! Haven’t trained one but I will in the future. :P
4th Gen – Honchkrow (Couldn’t nickname mine since my friend gave it to me >.>)
Never thought much of Murkrow but when I saw Honchkrow I had a heartattack! He is so cool!!! He helped me out so much in my Platinum adventure. Part of my Platinum and Current team.
5th Gen – Scrafty (Black*Star)
Scrafty is def an interesting Pokemon in my eyes. Cool design, nice typing, and good stats. Plus he reminds me of one of my fave wrestlers the Miz because of his Mohawk. ^_^” Currently training one. ;P

Fighting:
1st Gen – Hitmonlee
Being a fan of soccer I always loved Pokemon that used their legs for Fighting and Hitmonlee was a godsend! XD I love his design and I just overall love this pokemon. Def want to train a new one since I only used him in Leafgreen. ;P
2nd Gen - Herracross
Not many fighting types in the 2nd Gen but I always thought Herracross was very cool. I like Bug types and giving one a Bug/Fighting typing just made me a happy little boy! ^_^” Never trained one though. :X
3rd Gen – Medicham (Champsta)
Medicham is one of my all time favorite fighting types. He was mostly used for contests but I did train him to be a beast. Def want to retrain one in the 5th Gen. ;P
4th Gen – Toxicroak
Poison + Fighting = Badass. Toxicroak is definitely badass. And while it isn’t as bulky or fast as other fighting types, he is very unique and I like it! Def will train one soon. ;P
5th Gen – Conkledurr
Honestly Virizion is my favorite Fighting type from the 5th Gen but I dislike redundancy so I chose Conkledurr instead. A badass brolic clown is definitely a cool pokemon. Not to mention it scares me shitless. O.o Can’t wait to train one of these monsters! ^_^

Ghost: (Another personal favorite of mine)
1st Gen – Gengar
I always thought Gengar was that one Pokemon everyone wanted to have. And I still believe it! I always loved Gengar. Awesome stats, neat typing, the design, and just that evil smile. :D He began my love for Ghost types yet I never trained one strange. :X
2nd Gen – Misdreavus
The only Ghost pokemon in the 2nd Gen but adorable nonetheless. :3 I always loved Misdreavus and im glad they gave her an evo.
3rd Gen – Banette
Another awesome Ghost type. I always wanted a more physically offensive Ghost type and back then I liked using more of the UU and NU pokemon. Sadly they never gave Banette much to work with only a small movepool and not so stellar stats. *Sigh*Maybe they’ll do something with him in the 6th Gen? Hopefully :P.
4th Gen – Dusknoir (Phantom)
ABSOLUTELY MY FAVE GHOST POKEMON EVER! Plus I like to consider him my signature Pokemon since I always use him. Ironically I got him thru the Pokewalker thing from SoulSilver and well he became an absolute favorite. <3 (BTW I argued with my friend about how she said Ghost types suck! Boy how hard I defended my dear Ghosts! ^_^”) One of my all time fave Pokemon. Used on all teams. 
5th Gen – Cofagrigus (Pharoah)
This guy got me excited for the 5th Gen. I liked the idea of a Pharaoh coffin Pokemon being a ghost type. It would’ve been more interesting if it got a Ghost/Rock or Ghost/Steel typing. Oh well is still pretty awesome. Nice stats and used it when I played my friend’s Jap copy. ^_^

Flying: (meh lol)
1st Gen – Fearow (Kenny)
For some reason I’ve began to like Fearow a bit more than Pidgeot. Both are awesome, love their designs but Fearow I just like more. I always caught a Spearow over a Pidgey in the beginning games. Oh well I want to train one but I want to get a Sniper one. ;P
2nd Gen – Xatu
Xatu I always found to be one of the coolest Psychic types out there. Awesome design and being a psychic type was a win in my book. Sadly not so awesome moves and being part flying didn’t let me use him in my in game teams. But I will train one for competitive battles! :D
3rd Gen – Tropius
Not going to lie I always wanted a Grass and Flying type that would look awesome (Jumpluff is adorable though not hating on it ^_^”). This badass came and I wanted to use it instantaneously! Sadly though I would never fine space since I would only use Legends (I know I was an Uber noob)…Anyways I want to train one I just love its design so much. ;P
4th Gen – Chatot (Miz)
Random? Yes. Still a cool pokemon? In my eyes, YES! I loved Chatot when I first caught one. I loved its Chatter move which was such a nice addition to the game back then. My old one knew Heat Wave, Nasty Plot, Chatter, and Hyper Voice. One Nasty Plot and the opposing team would be shut down rather quickly. Traded him away for a Jap Ditto tho.  Going to retrain a new one tho ^_^.
5th Gen – Swoobat (Korazon)
Ironically his pre-evo got me super excited for the 5th Gen! I loved Koromori aka Woobat’s design and the typing sounded so convenient back then during the old CoroCoro scan days. There weren’t many Flying types in the 5th Gen so I gladly used him. Not very good stats but a very reliable Pokemon. I love Swoobat so much. Used in my friend’s Japanese copy.

Bug: (<3 I love my buggies ^_^)
1st Gen – Parasect (Gobbley)
To all you Parasect haters I say that you shall be damned! JK but don’t hate on Parasect he’s adorable in a strange way. ..I always found his typing interesting and I love his Dry Skin ability. Bad stats though don’t really give him much help but I still adore it. Never got to use him though since I would always chose a Chikorita or Bulbasaur in any game he was catchable early on. -.-“
2nd Gen – Scizor
Probably one of the most seen Pokemon in my eyes but for good reason. Awesome typing, design, and decent movepool and stats. Never trained one but I still consider it a very awesome Pokemon. :D
3rd Gen – Ninjask
Boy the history I had with this Pokemon. A long time ago I thought you had to train it to get a Shedinja. I trained my one in Ruby up to like level 70 when I found out it didn’t evolve into it. But I grew too used to Ninjask and so I decided to keep him. Used on my old Ruby game and sadly never to found again due to me losing it….:(
4th Gen – Yanmega (HellRaiser)
Yanmega was an accidental love encounter. I never really liked Yanma, but one day I decided to just fool around with one and level it up for fun. I was still very new to the 4th Gen and I didn’t know it had an evo and when it learned ancient power boy was I shocked. It evolved into a BADASS DRAGONFLY! He quickly became a part of my team is one of my stronger bug types. Used in my Platinum and SoulSilver team. Wish it was Bug/Dragon tho that would’ve been sweet! ^_^
5th Gen – Leavanny (Grace)
This was a very very very hard choice for me. I love so many of the Bugs in the 5th Gen it was hard to choose one. But in the end I chose Leavanny only because she reminds me of when I first saw the Sewaddle leak. I love her design and I named her after my ex-girlfriend too. Don’t use her very much since I already use another grass type and bug but I still love Leavanny very much. <3 Used on my White playthrough team.

Poison:
1st Gen – Arbok (Raviente)
Arbok became a fave of mine through Jessie from the Anime. I always wanted it to be more badass in the Anime but oh well that failed I guess. But I love Arbok’s design! King Cobra with an awesome pattern which makes Intimidate makes sense? Why yes! Used him in my SoulSilver in game team.
2nd Gen – Crobat (Princess)
2nd Gen wasn’t the advent of many Poison types but I still very much love Crobat. I put a lot of work into making Crobat be strong and she is currently level 91. Not bad but I have had her for a very long time(she was used in my Emerald team). Nonetheless I love Crobat’s design and found it so cool that it has feet! XD Love you Crobat <3
3rd Gen – Swalot
3rd Gen did just as bad as the 2nd with Poison types but I did always like Swalot’s design. I found him to be one of those “awww its strangely cute and funny looking! I want to own one!”. I fell into that category but never really trained one properly. Maybe a new chance in the 5th Gen? :X
4th Gen – Roserade (Solara)
The 4th Gen did a pretty good job with giving us more Poison types. One of them being an evolution of another Poison type from the 3rd Gen. I kinda didn’t think much of Roserade until my bestfriend really knew how to whoop my ass with one whenever we battled. X_X Nonetheless I love her design and she has pretty nice stats. Used one in my early Pearl walkthrough but soon found her kinda inferior to Torterra(in game usefulness wise ^_^”)
5th Gen – Scolipede
The 5th returned to the low inclusion of Poison type Pokemon but oh well the ones they did add were neat. Scolipede being one of those badass Bug types I always wanted to see. His shiny form is awesome too. Nice movepool, decent stats, and awesome design make him awesome! Prob will train one soon or maybe use him in Pokemon Grey for my in-game team.

Dragon:
1st Gen – Dragonair
One of the only 3 Dragons in the 1st Gen. I always loved Dragonair’s design and always considered it a very beautiful Pokemon. I was very disappointed at the way it turned out when it would finally evolve into Dragonite. Not saying I hate Dragonite but I preferred Dragonair to stay beautiful and elegant not cuddly and bulky ^_^”.
2nd Gen – Kingdra (Lagiacrus)
He is the only one in the 2nd Gen but don’t get me wrong I absolutely think Kingdra is awesome. I trained one back in my Platinum but never got to use him. I def want to start training it again now. :X
3rd Gen – Latios (Jericho)
The 3rd Gen brought some more dragons but Latios was always my favorite out of them. He just looks so sleek and awesome and with that Psychic typing it just made me like him more! Maybe in the future I’ll train up the one I caught a long time ago. :D
4th Gen – Garchomp (Naruga)
This gen brought in a huge amount of Dragons but out of all those Legendaries only Garchomp reigns supreme as one of my all time favorite Dragons (still doesn’t beat Palkia tho). An absolute beast and has remained a team member to this day. :D
5th Gen – Haxorus
A fair amount of Dragons came in the 5th Gen but Haxorus was one of the more badass ones. I am training a Fraxure at the moment to get one of these babies. :D But I def would’ve liked it if it turned out to be a Dragon/Fighting or Dragon/Bug that I thought it would’ve been when they first showed it in the CoroCoro scans. :X oh well ^_^”

Ground: (Sweet ;P)
1st Gen – Nidoking
There were a good amount of awesome Ground types in the 1st Gen but Nidoking is just badass to the bone! Amazing movepool, wicked awesome design, and good stats make him one hell of a Pokemon. I refuse to train one until I get my Sheer Force one that doesn’t have a crap nature(NO I DON’T WANT A LAX NIDOKING >.<). ^_^”
2nd Gen – Donphan
Again some nice Ground types in the 2nd Gen, but Donphan always stood out from the rest. Love it’s design and greatly love the idea of it spinning to attack(thank you anime :D). Also the tusks make it look like a small but armored elephant which is neat. Currently training one but me lazy ugh…
3rd Gen – Groudon (Raimundo)
3rd Gen gave a whole hell of lot of Ground types but Groudon was def my fave for the Gen. I just loved its design and the fact that it battles against Kyogre in a weather war. Def one of my favorite Legendaries. I also love that its huge! ^_^”
4th Gen – Hippowdon
Gotta say that I was shocked when they made a sand hippo be the other choice for a Sand Stream but Hippowdon is awesome. I always looked forward to catching it and causing havoc with his Sandstorm helping out my Torterra. I also liked the gender differences between the males and females, pretty neat. Seldomly used in Platinum but used nonetheless. ^ ^”
5th Gen – Krookodile (Dyavol)
Another all time favorite Pokemon of mine. <3 I absolutely adore my Dyavol (my nickname for my Krookodile). He has helped me so much in game and competitively! No regrets on using this big fella. It’s a shame I won’t be using him in Pokemon Gray since I dislike redundancy. :’(

Ice:
1st Gen – Cloyster
One of my more recent interests nowadays. I always liked Cloyster but never enough to train one. The 5th Gen gave him some awesome new toys like Shell Smash which makes him even more awesome than he was before! :D I look forward to training one in the near future.
2nd Gen – Smoochum
There weren’t many ice types in the 2nd Gen but out of the few that existed I love Smoochum! She just looks soooo cuddly and adorable!! Honestly I’ve trained one and got it to become Jynx (in my Leafgreen team btw). It is very good but a little too frail for my taste >.>. Nonetheless I love Smoochum! ^_^
3rd Gen – Regice
Probably my favorite Regi in existence (Sorry Regigigas but normal is too boring for someone that looks so badass). I loved that they made another Ice Legendary Pokemon after Articuno. ^_^ I used one in my Emerald playthrough for a bit after I caught it. I would like to brush of the dust of Regice but idk if the 5th Gen is going to be very welcoming to it. :X
4th Gen – Weavile (Shadow)
Not going to lie I never really liked Sneasal. I don’t know why but I just hated it for some reason. But I really like Weavile. I found it such an improvement on Sneasal that I just had to train one! SO fast and so hard hitting! :D Makes him awesome in my book and he was a part of my Pearl team. 
5th Gen – Kyurem
The 5th Gen had some nice Ice types but Kyurem really pops out of the crowd. He’s not really much now but I’m sure he has a lot of potential. I’m really hoping they improve on Kyurem in the upcoming Pokemon games. If they don’t give him a new forme I’m going to rage! DX

Rock:
1st Gen – Onix
Onix brings back memories from the old days. Always loved it when Brock would send out Onix for anything. While now he’s overshadowed by Steelix a lot nowadays he is still my fave Rock type from the 1st Gen. 
2nd Gen – Sudowoodo
I loved the idea of a fake tree Pokemon that actually hates water. XD I still remember how weirded out I was when I first saw him in Gold. Used him in my Gold team and probably want to train a new one. 
3rd Gen – Cradily
Cradily I always found strangely adorable and found him to be such a tank. Nice defenses and a pretty decent movepool make him an awesome Pokemon. I always love its design. :D
4th Gen – Rhyperior (Tank)
Badass armored Rhino?? Yes of course he’s my fave Rock type in the 4th Gen! Also he’s based on my favorite animal the Rhino!  Used on my Platinum team seldomly.
5th Gen – Gigalith (Purotekuta)
Fell in love with this awesome fella when they first showed him in CoroCoro. Used him in my White walkthrough. Love the design and its shiny form! I wish he knew more moves though….

Steel: (finally the end ^ ^”)
1st Gen – Magneton
Technically steels didn’t exist in the 1st Gen but I still consider Magneton my favorite steel from the 1st Gen. Simple but nice design. :D
2nd Gen – Skarmory
Badass armor-clad bird is just what I wanted to see in Pokemon. Skarmory is so awesome I love its design. So useful too :D. Hopefully will train one soon. ^ ^”
3rd Gen – Metagross (Gore)
By far my favorite Steel type. Awesome design, awesome stats, good movepool make him just sooo awesome. Didn’t train one until Platinum came out but it was worth it! :D
4th Gen – Empoleon
Another Pokemon I liked thanks to friends using it. Empoleon was always a beast when I would fight against it with my friends. I never used one though since I could never get a Piplup (Bro chose Chimchar and I chose Turtwig and most of my friends were lazy to breed their Empoleon). Lucky I got one after a long time but ehhhhh me lazy to train as usual. ^ ^” Love the beast design tho.
5th Gen – Ferrothorn
Grass type!! <3 I love this design of Ferrothorn! A much more badass version of Forretress in my opinion and really want to train one. 

If you read this than I salute you! ^_^ That is all my fave Pokemon and I must say I had a lot of fun doing this! :D Oh and I was bored so I decided to put the number of legends that I chose for each Gen.
Gen 1 – Zapdos (1)
Gen 2 – Raikou & Lugia (2)
Gen 3 – Kyogre, Deoxys, Latios, Groudon, & Regice (5)
Gen 4 – Palkia (1)
Gen 5 – Virizion, Zekrom, & Kyurem (3)

Ok guys comment on this pic and tell me what you think!  Took me a couple of days to finish this due to procrastination and other stuff. ^_^”

You and I have similar tastes in Pokemon
